The first thing I did with this picture was to create a layer and do an overall sharpen on the picture and then focused on the eyes. (Although this jpg version looks slightly different than the my photoshop versions did) I then adjusted the levels individually, making the background lush and the skin tone warmer. I finally added this wood border and feathered the edges. Please feel free to leave comments!
Great edit! I really like the wood frame on the photo and I love that your color treatment really makes her cute little freckles pop! Great job editing my photo, thanks for participating!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm glad you like the edit, the original is beautiful.
DeleteThe overall effect looks fantastic. I didn't like the wood frame when I first saw it but when is clicked on the picture and went to the larger view, I realised just how effective it is. I really like it :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the honest opinion. I agree that the thumbnail did not do the frame justice and it looked kinda funky. I'm glad you liked the end result and I'm so glad you took the time to click on it and leave me a comment.
DeleteYou brought out so much color - awesome! And I really like the yellow flowers on the bottom left corner and how it blends with the frame and rocks.
