I think the week would have been more detailed with a Macro lens. Right now I only have my kit lense, but have to say that Im not disappointed with my outcome. So instead I chose to find details within the two objects. My first picture is of a Hydrangea and the detail comes in with the green centers and the detailed lines in the petals. My husband's favorite was the reeds, which I have to say I think is my favorite too. There is just something cool about the rigid reeds with their evenly spaced bands. I am getting better and better using "M" on my camera. Im so proud! Yeah spring! Yeah green! and most important Yeah Spring Break!!!

p52- "Hunger"
"Hunger"... I'm guessing that Hunger is for the Hunger Games that is coming out this weekend. (I SO can't wait, I hope it isn't awful) I decided to take it literally and chose to show a picture of my lunch, that of course has to do with Hunger. Pictured is my beautiful Bento that my loving husband brought me from Japan. Inside my bento are all kinda goodies for lunch. The white triangle is Onigiri (a sushi rice triangle) decorated with nori. My little Onigiri is sitting on top of a bed of spring greens, and is surrounded by cherry tomatoes, twice fried pork strips, marinated mushrooms, asparagus, and finally in the small chick container is champagne salad dressing. In the top section of my bento is broccoli heads topped with sweet chili sauce, two different types of papaya, a baby bel light cheese with decorations carved into the wax, brussel sprouts, pickled ginger, and finally a small carp container with soy sauce for my broccoli. I enjoy eating my bento everyday! I bet if Katness and Peeta knew about my lunch they would have begged for Haymitch to send it in a "Golden Parachute"! "MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR"

A Super Saturday
We had a super Saturday today, the weather was wonderful at 85 degrees. I decided to take the kiddos to a small square in the middle of our town before attending the Reverse Beauty Pageant that Mr. Mann was in. Around the square are tons of tulips which served as the backdrop of the pics this afternoon. KK poses here in front of the beautiful flowers.
As KK and I were taking pictures Itty Bitty was running around playing. Since it is St. Patrick's Day she decided to hunt four leaf clovers. After a couple of minutes of hunting she was successful. The next picture is of Mr. Mann with a friend of his in front of the beautiful tulips. They were having a great time joking around together.
Mr. Mann has on his fake eyelashes for the reverse beauty patent, and his make-up. The Dress came next. The middle pictures is of Mr. Mann on stage at eh contest. Finally he and Papa make faces at the end of it all. What a fun Saturday, too bad he didn't win!

P52- "The "Eyes" of March"
The "Eyes" of March- LOL that title made me laugh when I saw it, I thought it was a nice nod to Caesar and of course Brutus. In high school after reading Julius Caesar we had to act out the "et tu Brutae" moment. The laughter that ensued was gut-busting. Enough about that though... My picture this week is of this sweet horse. I don't know his name but he was very eager to have his picture made early in the morning. I was attending a workshop and got there early, the pasture adjacent to our location was green and lush. Mr. Horsey seemed to love people so he got the paparazzi treatment and I got odd stares from the others rolling into the workshop. LOL

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge- Black and White
This is one of my favorite pictures of Itty Bitty. She was just giggly and happy which was so happy to see. This picture always makes me smile. We had a wonderful time seeing the sea lions, riding the carousel, and eating freshly made chocolate treats. What's better than that?

P52- "Leap"
Leap... This week was difficult not just for inspiration but time wise as well... So I'm a day late posting my picture. The past few days have been very rainy with severe weather in the form of hail, rain, and tornadoes. As the rain broke for a few minutes we played in puddles in the backyard. KK is having fun in my rain boots and her flannel kitty pj pants. She had a good time jumping in the water and coming up with different poses. On another note this is my first venture with my camera on "M" Whoo Hoo!
